This isn’t only a sport event. Our main goal is to help raise Armenia’s attractiveness and tourist flow. We have a small budget, but we manage to host more than a hundred journalists. As you might have noticed last year, they were very happy with their visit to Armenia. The publications they made about the tournament were very positive and they kept asking when we could organize the next one.

Thankfully, our sponsors will support us this year as well. Some quests will arrive tomorrow and others will join us on May 25. The games will kick off at noon, May 26, FC Pyunik Training Center. It is a round-robin tournament, so all teams will compete against each other. Each game will last 15 minutes.

We have chosen the date to commemorate the centennial of the first Armenian Republic and the 2800th anniversary of Yerevan. Several guests will stay in Yerevan until May 28 and attend the festivities.

Many countries organize football tournaments for media representatives, but Lithuania is the only country to hold annual competitions for over 10 years. We want to make the Yerevan tournament recurring too.

We had a great experience the first time, our guests were happy. We are 100% ready this year as well.

There will be a tour for our guests, we’ll take them to Sevan National Park on May 27.

The winning team of this tournament will be awarded a cup and runner-ups will get medals. Our partners have also prepared prizes for other participants and the best players.

We have traditionally good relations with the media. It is no coincidence we were glad to finance the tournament again. Our bank’s team also competes in different tournaments, so we are involved in sports. I share the objectives of this competition, I believe it will be an entertaining event again.
