Stepan Sargsyan Cup will kick off on September 7 in Vanadzor.
Secretary General of Armenian Wrestling Federation Arayik Baghdadyan told Mediamax Sport reporter that teams from 10 countries have applied for participation in this international freestyle wrestling competition.
“As usual, we put our efforts in duly organizing this tournament. We have already received applications from 10 countries, and we still expect this number to grow. Overall, 120 wrestlers will compete in the tournament this year,” Baghdadyan said.
The following countries have already applied: U.S., Iran, Moldova, Greece, Georgia, San Marino, Israel and Russian Federation. The latter will be represented by 4 teams.
