Olympic champion, Greco-Roman wrestling manager Levon Julfalakyan’s men have brought Armenia two gold medals and a bronze one from the European Championship.

Julfalakyan has concluded the team’s performance, noting he is happy with it in general.

“We have young athletes who went to such a large tournament for the first time. They have had no experience, and I believe they will manage to correct all their errors and perform better next time. As for Artur Shahinyan, that is a case of injustice. He couldn’t continue competing because of the referee’s mistake. Karapet Chaylyan had a poor performance. I think he shouldn’t have conceded to that particular wrestler. Karen Aslanyan is showing progress, we are all happy with him. The rest did what they could,” said the manager.

He has emphasized the team shouldn’t relax and feel satisfied with the win. According to Julfalakyan, they need to keep working and strive to return with medals from every tournament.
