Armenian Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship was also attended by silver medalist of Rio Olympic Games Mihran Harutyunyan. He followed the finals and participated in award ceremony of winners in under 67 kg weight category.
The wrestler announced in 2017 that he was going to combine Greco-Roman wrestling with MMA. He started to hold trainings to participate in various MMA fights. He often posted photos from trainings on his pages in social media.
Harutyunyan told Mediamax Sport that he planned to hold his first MMA fight in May this year. The name of his competitor will be revealed later.
