He trained with the team on Sunday, when Arsenal was preparing for the Premier League clash with West Ham. The Gunners won 4-1.
Arsene Wenger has stated that the Armenian midfielder will have increasingly intensive training in the coming days.
“But Mkhitaryan won’t be available on Thursday,” said the manager.
Arsenal will host Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their Europa League tie on April 26.
