Armenian women’s team leads in World Chess Olympiad

Armenian women’s team continues the winning streak in World Chess Olympiad in Batumi, Georgia.

Artur Chibukhchyan’s players beat the U.S. team 2.5-1.5, with Elina Danielyan and Anna Sargsyan winning their games. Lilit Mkrtchyan got a draw, and Maria Kursova lost her game.

Having earned 13 points, one more than the runners-up, the Armenian team tops the tournament table. Today they will play with Ukraine.
