Greco-Roman wrestler, European Champion Sahak Hovhannisyan won Armenia’s second medal in Youth Olympic Games. He took the bronze medal in the competition in Buenos Aires.
The wrestler told Mediamax Sport about his emotions and heated fight in the Olympic Games.
I departed for Buenos Aires to win the gold, but I got bronze medal due to several faults. I am convinced that this bronze will lead to many gold medals in the future.
The Olympic spirit and wrestling mat were extraordinary for me. The competition differed from all other tournaments: the fight was heated here, and everyone wanted a medal.
The Olympic Games are very interesting and special in every aspect.
I have attended competitions in several disciplines at the Olympics: judo, weightlifting, taekwondo and gymnastics.
We haven’t managed to get acquainted with the city yet; we have just finished the performances, but as far as I have noticed people are very amicable here and a little bit lazy.
I would call Buenos Aires a city of dances, and I like dancing very much.
