3rd gold medal in World Championship: Artur Aleksanyan is unbeatable again



World Wrestling Championship kicked off today in Paris and Greco-Roman wrestlers were the first to compete.

Gold medalist of the Olympic Games and twice World Champion Artur Aleksanyan showed a brilliant performance winning all the competitors and appearing in the final.

Musa Evloev from Russia was his competitor in the final. As usual, 25-year-old Armenian wrestler fought confidently in his relaxed style. Artur was the best again winning 3:1 and becoming World Champion for the third time.

Artur competed with participants from Iran, Georgia and Uzbekistan to reach the final. 

Other participants from Armenian national team Varsham Boranyan (71 kg), Karapet Chalyan (75 kg) and Artur Shahinyan (85 kg) did not reach the competition for medal.
