Armenian freestyle wrestlers are holding trainings in Yerevan with head coach for the freestyle wrestling team of Armenia Arayik Baghdadyan.
Mediamax Sport was present at the trainings and spoke to Baghdadyan. The coach noted that about 30 athletes from the capital and nearest marzes took part in the trainings. Other athletes train in their regions.
“The national team will hold training camp from November 24 to get prepared for World Club Championship and World Championship for non-Olympic weight categories. Now I mostly follow Volodya Frangulyan and Grigor Grigoryan, which will participate in the World Championship. These athletes are young, though they already have international experience; we should strive for the best,” Baghdadyan said.
