Yesterday Armenian weightlifter Liana Gyurjyan won the EWF Junior Championship in Bucharest.
Gyurjyan has told Mediamax Sport she is particularly happy with using all 6 attempts.
“I didn’t reach the mark I set, but I’m happy to have used all attempts. I owe this achievement to my coaches and my own belief in my efforts. I will work to perform better next season and win more tournaments,” she said.
According to Liana Gyurjyan, the European Championship gave her significant experience and boosted her confidence, which she will use in next competitions. “I thank my coaches and friends for supporting me and always helping me,” she added.
Gyurjyan took the gold medal in 81kg weight category with the combined result of 215kg.
