Novak Djokovic has won his first Grand Slam in the last two years by beating Kevin Anderson 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 in the Wimbledon final.
This is Djokovic’s fourth Wimbledon championship. Previously, he won the title in 2011, 2014 and 2015.
“I had many moments of doubt, I didn’t know if could come back to this level to compete. There is no better place to make a comeback, it's a sacred place for the world of tennis, it’s very special,” said Djokovic.
The former world number one is expected to be back in top ten when ATP releases the new rankings.
