Melkumyan and Seturama lead in Asryan Memorial Chess Tournament

Karen Asryan Memorial Chess Tournament has played 6 rounds so far in Jermuk, Armenia.

S.P. Sethuraman (India) and Hrant Melkumyan (Armenia) have gained 5 points each and now share the first place.

Sethuraman beat Rinat Jumabayev (Kazakhstan) and Melkumyan defeated fellow Armenian Zaven Andriasyan.

Places 3-8 are currently shared by six players, who have 4.5 points each.

The prize fund of this tournament is USD 27 000 in the equivalent sum of Armenian drams. The winner will receive USD 7 000.
