London Chess Classic starts after the rest day. The event hosts 10 grandmasters.
On the 5th tour Levon Aronian played against Hikaru Nakamura (USA) and the game ended in drew.
Now he has 3 points, only half a point less than Anish Giri (the Netherlands), Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France), Hikaru Nakamura (USA) and Alexander Grischuk (Russia).
Aronian’s opponent will be Veselin Topalov (Bulgaria) today.
This is the last stage of the tournament. Grand Chess Tour first stage took place in Stavanger, Norway and Topalov won. On the second stage- Sinquefield Cup, that took place in Saint Louis, U.S., Aronian was the first.
