European Wrestling Championships are underway if Rome. The Greco-Roman competition started yesterday.
Armenia was represented by Karapet Chalyan (77 kg), who will be fighting for the bronze medal.
Today, matches will be held in 5 other weight categories. Gevorg Gharibyan (60 kg) will wrestle with Avgustin Spasov (Bulgaria) and Karen Aslanyan (67 kg) will face Oskar Erlandsson (Sweden) in the qualification round. Malkhas Amoyan’s opponent in 72 kg category is Dominik Etlinger (Croatia).
In the 1/8finals, Ruben Gharibyan (82 kg) will face Igor Petrishin (Israel) and Artur Aleksanyan (97 kg) will wrestle with Cenk Ildem (Turkey).
