Armenian wrestler Arsen Harutyunyan has won a silver medal in Takhti Cup held in Iran.
The European champion of 2019 qualified for the final following 3 wins in 3 matches. Harutyunyan faced bronze medalist of U23 World Championship, Alireza Sarlak (Iran). The match ended 2-2, but the Iranian athlete won based on overall assessment of the match.
Another Armenian athlete, Mihran Jaburyan won the bronze in the same weight category.
Armenia will be represented today by three wrestlers: Gevorg Mkhekyan (70kg) will fight in the final, Arman Andreasyan will try to win the bronze in the same weight category, while Mher Markosyan will fight for the bronze medal in 86kg category.
