Armenian wrestler Arsen Harutyunyan has reached the final of Takhti Cup held in Tehran, Iran.
European champion Harutyunyan won 3 matches in 57 kg weight category. He will fight for the gold medal today.
Today is also the first day of competition for wrestlers in 61 kg, 70 kg, 74 kg, 86 kg and 92 kg weight categories. Head coach of Armenia’s freestyle team took a 16-strong team to Iran.
Apart from Arsen Harutyunyan, the team includes Mihran Jaburyan, Razmik Papikyan, Vazgen Tevanyan, Gevorg Mkheyan, Arman Avagyan, Varuzhan Kajoyan, Hovhannes Mkhitaryan and Grigor Grigoryan among others.
