Armenia to have a 9-strong Greco-Roman team in U23 World Wrestling C’ship

The U23 Greco-Roman wrestling team of Armenia will start preparing for the World Championship on October 18.

Head coach of the team Eduard Sahakyan has told Mediamax Sport that the training camp will conclude on October 30. According to him, the Armenian delegation will travel to Budapest afterwards and enter into the competition on November 1.

In the U23 Senior World Championships, Armenia will be represented by Norayr Hakhoyan (55kg), Armen Melikyan (60kg), Slavik Galstyan (63kg), Hayk Melikyan (67kg), Hrant Kalachyan (72kg), Vahe Poghosyan (77kg), Arman Vardumyan (82kg), Albert Yeghikyan (87kg) and Davit Ovasapyan (130kg).
