Freestyle wrestlers from 11 countries participated in the Intercontinental Cup in Khasavyurt (Dagestan).
European U23 champion Vazgen Tevanyan has become a bronze medalist. He fell behind 3:4 American Evan Henderson in the semifinal and then got advantage 5:2 over Shamil Huseynov (Dagestan) for the 3rd place.
Armenian athletes Narek Sirunyan and Hrachya Margaryan performed in this weight category; they competed in the qualification stage.
