The Greco-Roman wrestling team of Armenia is holding the last training sessions in Yerevan ahead of the World Championship, which is held in Nur-Sultan this year.
Today the coaches have revealed the squad they will take to Kazakhstan.
Acting head coach Eduard Sahakyan has told the press that Armenia will be represented by Norayr Hakhoyan (55kg), Gevorg Gharibyan (60kg), Slavik Galstyan (63kg), Karen Aslanyan (67kg), Malkhas Amoyan (72kg), Karapet Chalyan (77kg), Maksim Manukyan (82kg), Artur Shahinyan (87kg) and Artur Aleksanyan (97kg).
Some members of the squad will travel to Nur-Sultan on 12 September and other will follow on 13 September. It is a qualifying championship: athletes who finish in top six will get Olympic quotas.
