Malkhas Amoyan is preparing for his first senior level tournament

The national Greco-Roman wrestling team of Armenia will start a training camp in Yerevan on July 22 to prepare for the upcoming international tournaments.

According to the Armenian Wrestling Federation, several members of the team will compete in Poland and others in Georgia.

 

The following athletes will travel to Warsaw on August 2-4: Gevorg Gharibyan and Armen Melikyan (60 kg), Slavik Galstyan (63 kg), Malkhas Amoyan (72 kg), Arsen Julfalakyan (75 kg), Artur Shahinyan and Maksim Manukyan (87 kg).

 

The squad that will compete in Tbilisi on August 7-11 includes Rudik Mkrtchyan and Norayr Hakhoyan (55 kg weight class), Vazgen Khachatryan (60 kg), Hrant Kalachyan and probably Armen Baghdasaryan (72 kg), Sargis Kocharyan, Eduard Sargsyan and Argishti Abgaryan (82 kg), Gegham Torgomyan (87 kg) and David Ovasapyan (130 kg).
