Armenia to send a big Greco-Roman wrestling squad to memorial in Kiev

Armenia’s Greco-Roman wrestling team will begin the first training camp of 2018 on February 2 in Tsaghkadzor.

Under the management of Levon Julfalakyan, the wrestlers will be preparing for the XXII Outstanding Ukrainian Wrestlers and Coaches Memorial in Kiev.

The coach has told Mediamax Sport that the team will include all winners of the Armenian Championship, which took place on January 28. The athletes are Norayr Hakhoyan (55kg), Armen Melikyan (60kg), Slavik Galstyan (63kg), Karen Aslanyan (67kg), Arman Baghdasaryan (72kg), Karapet Chalyan (77kg), Eduard Sargsyan (82kg), Maksim Manukyan (87kg), Vaghinak Minasyan (97kg), and Edgar Khachatryan (130kg).

“Arsen Julfalakyan, who took the second place in 77kg in the Armenian Championship, will also come to Kiev. Artur Aleksanyan will join us as well. The team will travel to Ukraine on February 22,” said Levon Julfalakyan.
