United World Wrestling (UWW) released the new ranking list of Greco-Roman wrestlers.
6 Armenian athletes were once again involved in the list of strongest wrestlers.
Winner of the Olympic Games, European and World champion Artur Aleksanyan continues to hold the 3rd highest position in UWW rankings among Armenian athletes. Silver medalist of Rio Olympic Games Lugo Yasmany is the leader of rankings. Artur Aleksanyan defeated exactly him in the final of the Olympics 2016.
Silver medalist of the Olympic Games Mihran Harutyunyan took the 7th place in under 66 kg category.
Other Armenian athletes among the best are Varsham Boranyan(71 kg), Karapet Chalyan, Arsen Julfalakyan(75 kg) and Maksim Manukyan (85 kg).
