The Armenia freestyle wrestling team will be represented by seven wrestlers at the qualifying World Championships in Las Vegas due from September 7 to 12.
Head coach Araik Baghdadyan has told Mediamax Sport correspondent that Armenia won’t have a representative only in one weight class.
Garik Barseghyan (57 kg), Volodya Frangulyan (61 kg), Davit Safaryan (65 kg), Grigor Grigoryan (74 kg), Musa Murtazaliev (86 kg), Edgar Yenokyan (97 kg) and Levan Berianidze (125 kg) will participate in the Championships.
Today the Armenia team returned from Georgia where it held its last training camp ahead of the World Championships. The team will hold its last training in the U.S. The Armenia team will leave for U.S. on August 30.
