Head coach for the freestyle wrestling team of Armenia Arayik Baghdadyan has announced the names of the athletes to leave for Baku 2015 European Games.
Bronze medal winner at European Championship Garik Barseghyan (57 kg), U23 European champion Volodya Frangulyan (61 kg), European and World champion Davit Safaryan (65 kg), silver medal winner at European Championship Grigor Grigoryan (74 kg), silver medal winner at European Wrestling Championships Musa Murtazaliev (86 kg) and Levan Berianidze (125 kg) will take part in freestyle wrestling competitions due on June 12-28.
Safaryan is training under a personal coach, while Berianidze in Georgia.
“We are going to Baku to win medals. The carpet will show their color. The wrestlers are well-disposed and they will spare no effort to fight till the end and perform well,” said Baghdadyan.
The freestyle wrestling team will leave for Baku from Tbilisi on June 15.
