Armenian teams have topped the medal table in the EWF Junior and U23 Weightlifting Championships in Bucharest.
The Armenian weightlifters won 11 medals in total: 7 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze ones.
In the junior team, Liana Gyurjyan (81kg weight category), Karen Avagyan (89 kg), Arpine Dalalyan (+87 kg) and Varazdat Lalayan (+109 kg) became champions. Ara Aghanyan (89kg) and Rafik Harytyunyan won the silver and bronze medals.
In the U23 team, Hakob Mkrtchyan (89 kg), Samvel Gasparyan (109 kg) and Simon Martirosyan (+109 kg) won the gold medals. Tatev Hakobyan (87 kg) and Davit Hovhannisyan (89 kg) took the silver and the bronze respectively.
