Choice of sport: She was a swimmer first, but once she was taken to a sprints competitions that she won: “Surik Begoyan was my first coach, he called and said he wanted to work with me. I began at age12, but I didn’t take sport seriously. I won at the tournament in Turkey in 2009, and athletics became a part of me.”
