Armenia has won the first medal in the 30th Summer Universiade in Naples, Italy.
Gymnast Artur Avetisyan took the gold on the rings, having earned 14.900 points for his final performance.
Avetisyan finished 2nd with 14.750 points in the qualifying round.
In this Universiade, Armenia is represented by 14 athletes in 7 sports: shooting, fencing, gymnastics, athletics, taekwondo, judo and diving.
