On March 11-15, Yerevan will host an international basketball tournament dedicated to the 2800th anniversary of the foundation of the city.
The four teams to compete are Gazprom (Moscow), TSU-Hyundai (Tbilisi), Ararat (Tehran) and Urartu (Yerevan).
“Gazprom and TSU-Hyundai are strong teams with high-level players, leaders in their respective leagues. Ararat won in Iranian Division 1 and qualified for the Super League,” said Vice President of Basketball Federation of Armenia Ara Poghosyan.
