ProFC World Champion Davit Khachatryan returned to Armenia after his recent victory and today had a meeting with the journalists.
“I was unwell a month ago and wanted to finish the bout ahead of time, but I realized that my opponent – Sultan Abdurazakov – was very well-prepared. I managed to fight correctly till the end and won due to points," said Khachatryan.
The Armenian athlete that has been training in Moscow for around a year is going to move to the U.S. and continue his career there. Besides trainings, he will also participate in tournaments, after which he wants to move to UFC.
“I am one of the strongest athletes in my weight category and I am leaving for the U.S. as my sport is highly developed there. I want to move to UFC very much. There I will know it more clearly when I will be able to attain my goal,” he stressed.
