Adamyan’s goal and Hoffenheim’s win in DFB Cup

Hoffenheim beat MSV Duisburg in the second round of DFB Cup yesterday.

Florian Grillitsch was the in the spotlight in the 53th minute, when he put Hoffenheim in front. The second and winning goal came from Armenian forward Sargis Adamyan in the 59th minute.

Hoffenheim manager Alfred Schreuder said in the post-match conference that his men had to resist strong pressure from Duisburg in the beginning. “Duisburg isn’t competing in the cup by coincidence, but we managed to find our game in the second half and get a deserved win,” he said.
