Arsenal has beaten Valencia in style in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final clash. The Gunners won the game at the Emirates 3-1.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan was a substitute and came onto the pitch in the 75th minute.
After the match he posted on his Facebook page: “First leg lead and a step closer to the UEL Final. Thank you to our fans for being behind us!”
If Arsenal reaches the final, Mkhitaryan will be competing in it for the second time. In 2017 the Armenian midfielder played in the Europa League final for Manchester United and scored the winner.
