Apart from Armenia-Kazakhstan (2:0) game, teams of Group E held two other matches in the qualifying round of FIFA World Cup 2018.
Poland won the away game 2:1 against Montenegro. Robert Lewandowski scored the opener at the 40th minute from free kick. At the 62nd minute, hosts equalized thanks to Stefan Mugosa’s effort. However, Lukasz Piszczek’s winner secured points for Poland.
The goalless Romania-Denmark game ended with a draw.
Poland remains the E Group leader with 13 points. Montenegro and Denmark have 7 points each, while Armenia and Romania earned 6 points each. Kazakhstan with 2 points is currently the last in the group.
