Interim head coach for the Armenia national team, Sargis Hovsepyan has said that Serbia team is quite strong.
“Serbia is in a worse state as it has -2 points while we still have theoretical chances to win an entry. However, even if we had no chance to win the third place in the group, we would still play for our people and football fans in order to rejoice them,” said the coach.
Hovsepyan has noted that September 4 match against Serbia will show the team’s state. “Our task is to restore the players as many of them played for their clubs. We have more worked on tactical training. I am happy with our trainings,” he said.
The match will take place without audience and the coach said it might create the impression of a friendly match. According to him, he does his best to see maximum dedication on the field. “We should be entirely committed to this match as we are defending the honor of our country,” he said.
Serbia vs. Armenia Euro 2016 qualifying match will take place at 22.45, Yerevan time.
