Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian drew with Magnus Carlsen (Norway) in the last round and finished 4th with 7.5 points.
The winner of the tournament was decided in tie-break. Fabiano Caruana (USA) and Wang Hao (China) both had 8 points. Hao won their games and took the first place.
He thus qualified for the Candidates Tournament, which will be held in 2020 in Yekaterinburg, Russia.
