FIDE Chess.com Grand Swiss kicks off on the Isle of Man tomorrow. The tournament will feature Magnus Carlsen, Fabiano Caruana, Wesley So, Viswanathan Anand and Levon Aronian – all strong players.
Almost all of the invited players will compete for 11 rounds.
FIDE Chess.com Grand Swiss is especially important because the winner will qualify for the Candidates Tournament.
Apart from Aronian, Armenia will be represented by Gabriel Sargsyan, Sergey Movsisyan, Hrant Melkumyan, Robert Hovhannisyan, Vladimir Hakobyan and Karen Movsisyan.
