Aronian to participate in 2019 Croatia Grand Chess Tour

On June 26 yet another event of Grand Chess Tour will start in Zagreb, which involves 12 grandmasters.

Armenia will be represented by Levon Aronian. The prize fund of the tournament (11 rounds) is USD 325k. The players will compete in Round Robin.

Aronian’s competitors are Viswanathan Anand (India), Fabiano Caruana (U.S.), Magnus Carlsen (Norway), Liren Ding (China), Anish Giri (Netherlands), Sergey Karjakin (Russia), Shakriyar Mamaderov (Azerbaijan), Hikaru Nakamura (U.S.), Ian Nepomniachtchi (Russia), Wesley So (U.S.), Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France).
