Round 7 of European Women Chess C’ship goes well for Armenian players

European Women’s Individual Chess Championship 2019 has resumed in Antalya after a one-day break.

Round 7 went quite well for Armenia, as two players drew and three others won their respective games.

Elina Danielyan drew with Bela Khotenashvili (Georgia), who played with white pieces. Another Armenian player, Lilit Mkrtchyan’s game also ended in a draw.

Anna Sargsyan, Siranush Ghukasyan and Maria Gevorgyan won their games.

Danielyan is sitting 7th with 5 points, one point behind leader Alina Kashlinskaya (Russia).
