Armenia drops behind in World Chess C’ship

Armenian women’s team has lost to Russia in the second round of World Championship.

Lilit Mkrtchyan was the only player to get a half point, while Elina Danielyan, Anna Sargsyan and Siranush Ghukasyan lost their respective games. The Armenia vs. Russia face-off ended 0.5-3.5.

Now Russia and China top the table with 4 points, and Armenia sits 5th with 2 points.

Today Armenian team will face India.
