Karen Asryan Memorial to hold the last round today

Karen Asryan Memorial Chess Tournament has one round to go in Jermuk, Armenia.

S.P. Sethuraman, Krishnan Sasikiran (India) and Hayk Martirosyan (Armenia) finished Round 8 as leaders with 6 points each.

After beating Kirill Stupak (Belarus), Martirosyan will face another Armenian Hrant Melkumyan in the last round. Melkumyan has gained 5.5 points so far.

The prize fund of the tournament is USD 27 000 in the equivalent sum of Armenian drams. The winner will receive USD 7 000.
