The second leg of Grand Chess Tour has kicked off in Paris. After yesterday’s three rounds of rapid, Levon Aronian shares the 1st place with two other players.

He beat Alexander Grischuk (Russia) first, then drew with Hikaru Nakamura (USA) and Viswanathan Anand (India).

The Armenian grandmaster earned 4 points, the same amount as Wesley So (USA) and Anand. The overall estimate puts Aronian on top.

The last three rounds are scheduled for today and will be followed by blitz games.
