Today the second round of FIDE World Cup 2017 will kick off in Tbilisi.
Two Armenian chess players were defeated in the first tie-break yesterday. Hrant Melkumyan lost 2,5:1,15 to Boris Grachev (Russia), while Robert Hovhannisyan lost to Maxim Rodshtein (Israel) with the same result.
Levon Aronian qualified for the second round earlier, and he will compete with Hou Yifan (China) today.
