Sinquefield Cup: Aronian loses to Caruana

The second tour of the Sinquefield Cup in St. Louis wasn’t successful for Levon Aronian.

The Armenian grandmaster (playing the white) lost to Fabiano Caruana (USA) and dropped to the 4th place.

Now the tournament leaders are Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France), Magnus Carlsen (Norway), and Caruana with 1.5 point each.

In the third round, Aronian will play with Sergey Karjakin (Russia).
