Levon Aronian is partaking in "Sport for Equal Opportunities” event for the 7th time, holding a chess session.

This time he will play opposite the children receiving inclusive education, at Tigran Petrosyan Chess House. The event is organized by Bridge of Hope NGO.

Levon Aronian

I think it’s important for every Armenian to do their work well. We should give everyone equal opportunities for living. This should be one of the most important steps for our country, and we all have to work for it.

It doesn’t matter to me if my opponent is disabled or not, that’s why I don’t find it difficult psychologically. Chess is a sport that encourages equality. You don’t need much to play. The children only need to have the desire to play. Chess brings people together.

I always try to find the right move. I play in full force, which excites children, and they try to play well against me.
