Levon Aronian takes 4th place in FIDE ranking

FIDE published the ranking list of top 100 chess players.

Grandmaster Levon Aronian went up by 3 places, and now occupies the 4th with 2,792 points.

There are 3 other representatives of Armenia on the list. Gabriel Sargsyan went down and took the 59th place, Vladimir Hakobyan improved his position and took the 65th, and Sergey Movsisyan remained on the 89th place.

World champion Magnus Carlsen (Norway) with 2,855 points is still the confident leader of the ranking. He is followed by Vladimir Kramnik (Russia) and Fabiano Caruana (USA).
