The European Individual Chess Championship completed in Jerusalem.
None of the Armenian chess players managed to enter the top three. Grandmaster Gabriel Sargsyan showed the best result – he gained 7.5 points and came in the 18th place.
Robert Hovhannisyan earned 7 points and Vladimir Hakobyan – 6.5 points.
Russian grandmaster Evgeniy Najer won the European Champion’s title scoring 8.5 points out of a possible 11.
