Four Armenian boxers competed yesterday in the European U22 Boxing Championships in Vladikavkaz, Russia.
Two of them, Zhorzhik Marutyan (56kg) and Vakhtang Harutyunyan (75kg), reached the quarter-finals.
Harutyunyan beat Pablo Bernal (Spain) 4-1, and his next opponent is Lewis Richardson (England).
Marutyan won the fight with Atlatun Babayev (Azerbaijan) and will face Bojan Arsenov (Bulgaria) in the quarter-final.
