AIBA President Gafur Rahimov declared that the 2018 AIBA Women’s World Championships is really important for them.

“Women’s boxing development is a central part of AIBA’s DNA. But it is also important to remember that we are starting a new era at boxing. One that is focused on ensuring that our athletes are provided with the necessary support to achieve greatness in and out of the ring,” AIBA President said.

Armenia will be represented by Anush Grigoryan (51kg) and Ani Hovsepyan (64kg).
