Armenian boxer Narek Abgaryan beat Jesus Galicia (Mexico) and won WBC International Silver title in Spain on June 29.

Abgaryan has told Mediamax Sport that the fight against Galicia was the hardest in his career.

“My opponent was stronger and more experienced, he had incomparably higher ranking. Naturally, the tension was high, mostly because I really wanted to win,” said Abgaryan.

According to the boxer, he won thanks to quick thinking, well-aimed blows and constant movement in the ring.

“This title is the valuation of my work. I invested a lot of energy and worked very hard to get to this point,” noted Abgaryan.

The champion doesn’t have clear plans yet for the nearest future, but he says his next fight might take place in the United States.
