WBC Continental Americas winner Azat Hovhannisyan will have a fight with Ronny Rios on March 10. The boxers have already met at the media workout they hosted at TKO Boxing Club in Santa Ana, California.
The boxers have spoken to the press ahead of the 10-round fight in California.
Azat Hovhannisyan has said he just started to train with Freddie Roach and has noticed a change already. “Ronny Rios is a great fighter, but I know what I need to do in the ring to win,” remarked Hovhannisyan.
Rios has noted he feels a little different after fighting for a world title.
“I feel stronger and more motivated to get even further than what I accomplished and to become a world champion. Azat [Hovhannisyan] has a lot of heart. He comes forward a lot. We’ve seen a lot of strengths and weaknesses on tape. I can’t reveal too much, but we have a lot of different game plans,” said Rios.
