Two Armenian boxers had fights yesterday in the 69th International Boxing Tournament “Strandja” in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Gurgen Hovannisyan (Armenia, 91kg) beat Aleksandar Georgiev (Bulgaria) 5-0 and Zhirayr Sargsyan (56kg) lost to Jose Quiles (Spain) with the same score.
Today Armenia will be represented by Gurgen Madoyan (69kg), who will face Robert Chamasanyan (Bulgaria).
Earlier, another Armenian boxer Vahe Badalyan (52kg) qualified for the next session.
